Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, not everything good comes off the grill!!! We were wanting something special for our Thanksgiving dessert and this is what we thought up. This simple no bake pie will satisfy your peanut butter and chocolate craving hugely!
Peanut Butter and Chocolate and giving it more thought we came up with Peanut Butter and Chocolate. So, we decided we would run with Peanut Butter and Chocolate but kick it up to the next level. Instead of the boring gram cracker crust we used Chocolate chip peanut butter cookies. Then, a cream cheese and peanut butter mix for our filling with a thick layer of chocolate sprinkled with crushed nuts in the middle and top. So, if you like lots of chocolate and peanut butter you will love this easy no bake pie.
We are even working on some personal size pies for Christmas gifts for friends. We have several friends waiting In Line
Patti and I have set one night a week just for us. It’s our date night. We usually put something special on our Green Mountain Wood Pellet Grill/Smoker but sometimes we cook inside. We always eat outside on our patio where it is very comfortable with a rainforest theme. Wood Pellet Patio Heater, little lights, candles, lanterns and surround sound. We enjoy a little wine, or strawberry margaritas using frozen strawberries for ice, good food, music and sometimes a dance or two…

Cooking Directions: Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
Put the cookies in a food processor and grind them up. Adding the melted butter until mixed well. Press into your pie dish, we use the bottom of a drinking glass to press the crust into shape.
Place all the filling ingredients for the filling into the mixing bowl for your mixer. Starting slowly and ending when the filling holds soft peaks. Clean the beaters just like you did at your grandmother’s house. Yum.
Fill the pie crust halfway, then place it into the freezer to firm up, 15 to 20 minutes here. When the filling is firm cover with a layer of chocolate and nuts covering with more filling and back into the freezer until firm.
When the filling is firm top it with more chocolate sauce and nuts…

About our Recipes
We do our recipes on our patio where we have a lineup of grills, including Green Mountain, Uuni Wood Fired Pizza Oven, Sawtooth, Louisiana, Royall, Memphis, Traeger pellet grills, Char Griller side box smoker, Saber, Charmglow, Char-Broil, The Big Easy, Lodge Sportsman’s, Brinkman and Weber. I call it our “Wall of Grill”. Our grilling styles are healthy and low fat and will fit pelletheads, gas, natural wood and even charcoal purists. Almost any of our recipes can be done on any kind of good BBQ.
The important thing to keep in mind is TIME & TEMPERATURE. You can do our recipes on any grill, even some of them in the oven or crock pot, but, then you lose all the flavors you get from cooking outdoors. But sometimes it does rain.
Remember that a recipe is simply an outline; it is not written in stone. Don’t be afraid to make changes to suit your taste. Take it and run with it….
Live your Passion and Do What You Love,
Ken & Patti
